Marina Gospodinova is among the renowned Bulgarian jazz singers. Marina combines her busy concert life with her engagement as a vocal coach in the Academy of music, dance and fine arts in Plovdiv.
Marina colaborates with a diversity of formations and works with the most prominent Bulgarian jazz musicians as well as with foreign artists.
The music projects Marina inspires and leads by herself include “The Golden Era of Jazz”, “JAZZ ‘n’ GROOVE TALES feat. SkilleR”, „Celebrating Billie Holliday”, „One Bossa Nova Night “.
Worth mentioning is the project “Jazz Sings in Bulgarian (Jazz & Poetry)”, in which Marina together with Antony Donchev /director of the Bulgarian National Radio Big Band, piano/, Ventsislav Blagoev (trumpet) and the poetess Maria Doneva present some of the most beautiful jazz standards with original Bulgarian lyrics.
