GloBalKan was formed in 2017, featuring some of Bulgaria’s finest musicians. It is a collaboration of musicians that have dedicated their artistic energy in bridging traditional Balkan folklore music with jazz, pop, latin and classical music styles. Together they come here to present a journey through the Balkans. Be prepared to weep, scream, laugh and dance through an unforgettable journey of the Balkan Spirit.
All the members of the band are well-known and established professionals: NedyalkoNedyalkov – kaval, Vladimir Karparov – saxophone, PetarMilanov – guitar, StoyanYankoulov – percussion, and guest vocalist – BogdanaPetrova.
The genre definition “world music” is narrow to describe the wealth and depth of GloBalKan’s music.
